Our platoon finally got caught for allowing some of our people to skip 5BX and breakfast. I've never done it myself, so thank goodness I didn't have to suffer the injustice of being punished for something I didn't do. Our afternoon run was cancelled so that we could receive a lecture from our course commander. Ironically, we were less harshly punished than we'd expected. Knowing that you've let someone down is quite bad enough anyway. Well, at least discipline around here's going to improve from now on. (Our current platoon i/c is still freaking hopeless though.) My friend has this awesome miniaturised manual that contains a helluva lot of stuff that I'll need to know as a signal operator. It's going to save me the trouble of making my own notes! Haha...
