Primrose Day/Cow Chip Day
2006-04-19 @ 11:42 p.m.

Thought of a few good lines for Intoxication while I was on sentry duty at the gate earlier. Am sentry instead of prowler because oddly enough, almost nobody wanted to do sentry duty this time around. There was turn out just now, but it didn't affect me because I was at the gate. I suspect our duty officer is another guard duty newbie. Just thought I'd share something that proves it's possible to join our military organisation and remain untainted by the vulgar side of army life. Today, our last lesson was conducted by an amiable sergeant who professes non-belief in scolding vulgarities because he just wasn't brought up that way. You might think me incredibly stupid, but I was impressed, as I was certainly not brought up that way either. However much I might complain about my parents, the one thing they did give me was a good, solid upbringing. So it was heartening to discover that decency can still prevail in some people. Incidentally, I haven't touched a single chocolate bar. I'll probably end up bringing them home. Am considering going to see Rachel perform, but I've no idea how I'm going to get tickets, let alone sneak into the venue unobtrusively more than an hour into the programme.
