Cheeseball Day/Patriot's Day/Nosy Neighbor Appreciation Day

Passed with flying colours. Not bad for the effort that I put in. May's guard duty list is out, and I'm over the moon! I got exactly what I wanted. I only have to do one more weekday guard duty to make my quota for this course. Well, I am the reserve for the weekend shift, but there's more than one reserve anyway, so it won't necessarily be me who has to cover for someone. I've stopped worrying about scholarships; I figure if God wants me to stay in Singapore for the next few years, it'll probably be an uphill task for me to escape. So I might as well submit and see where He leads me eventually. I think I'm happier than I've been for the past couple of weeks. Only one thing could make me happier, but as I'm not likely to get it, there's no point making myself miserable. Carpe diem indeed...
