Good Friday/Tamil New Year/Pecan Day

Got home a little later than expected, no thanks to our duty officer. Oh well, since he didn't make us do turn out or stand to, I suppose he can be excused. Good Friday service was staid, but at least it didn't last all the way until 3 pm, which was when the service should have ended if you'd wanted to be really traditional. (3 pm being the hour that corresponds to the death of Jesus.) Went to the Times warehouse sale with Thong after that, but it was disappointing. Saw lots of things that were mildly interesting, but nothing that really made me want to fork out my cash. I think the last really good discovery I made at a Times warehouse sale was Russell Hoban. Still haven't studied for my wireless communications fundamentals test on Monday...
