Palm Sunday/Astronauts Day
2006-04-09 @ 7:59 p.m.

Came back home after dinner with Dan and Thong because the latter didn't bring his stuff, so he couldn't book in straight from Plaza Singapura. Well, it wasn't a complete waste of time meeting them just for dinner (they'd gone for that Shu Qi and Chang Chen movie before dinner), since dinner was at the Manhattan Fish Market, which I've been dying to go to since it was first featured in some magazine or newspaper article, but now strikes me as essentially a ripoff of Fish & Co. The food wasn't bad, and it's reasonably affordable. I think the portions at Fish & Co. are larger though, from what I remember anyway. Worship today was kind of funny, because Charissa was freaking out over the drum parts, then my Powerpoint slides couldn't be opened on the laptop. In the end, the drumming went well and we sang without the lyrics being projected. They were all familiar songs anyway, so it wasn't much of a problem. This week is going to pass quite quickly, and the only thing I'll have to endure is 12 hours of guard duty from Thursday evening to Friday morning. Think I'll pop by church for the Good Friday service if I'm not too tired, and maybe see if they need any help for the Easter performance. Totally random here, but I like my new haircut! I think this is like the perfect length, so I just took a picture of myself with my camera phone for future reference.

This week:

Garden Week
