Buddha Day/Hana Matsuri

This weekend is passing like any other. Paradoxically, I want to do less these days despite having less time to call my own. Mostly I just want to be left alone to read and catch the occasional movie and play. Can't really do the latter, so I simply read. Haven't studied for the CCNA final exam at all, but I did finish all the module exams with near-perfect scores. I won't divulge my methods, but you can guess, can't you? It's an open secret really. Haven't continued with either of my poems, but I will hopefully finish them by this week. Hoping that my guard duty this week won't be a nightmare! Maybe the fact that the next day's a public holiday will ameliorate the mood of whoever happens to be taking us. Seems like my platoon lucked out the last two times and didn't get screwed by people who were supposedly very strict. Third time's the charm? I certainly hope so.

Went back to RJC for the official opening ceremony, which was kind of boring because the only other person who went back with me was Thong. Everyone else was busy or didn't want to go back. We did bump into Claudia and Grace on our way out, but they were busy doing stuff for the history of RJC exhibition anyway. Claudia was apparently very nasty to Thong because he was bugging her before I arrived. Haha! Then I went to Junction 8 to collect my New World Order membership card. 20% discount on the day of collection, so I bought a shirt, a polo tee and a t-shirt. Happiness! Some of my bunkmates have affirmed my brand choice, which shows that I do have some semblance of taste after all.
