At the worship ministry retreat right now. The place is quite nice, and the villas we're staying at are humongous! It's a shame we're only staying overnight because it's really a waste of money to come here and not have much time to use any of the facilities. Anyway, we had this sharing session in the afternoon where we were supposed to affirm each and every person in the ministry. I must admit I had no idea the adults had taken such notice of me. Was really blessed and encouraged by what I heard today. Some things made me smile, like hearing how people remember me as the loudest singer when I performed some songs in church. (Yes, there was a time when I was a cherubic boy soprano, with a crystal clear voice.) I'm really looking forward to being part of the music ministry. To recall stuff I wrote a few weeks ago, I might not have gone to MDC, but I'm definitely in a position to serve now, both in YE and main service. God works in mysterious ways His wonders to perform!
