Cuddly Kitten Day/Liberty Day
2006-03-23 @ 12:56 p.m.

Have successfully eased myself into the monotony of a new routine. Incidentally, I need to start exercising in my own time outside camp. I'm beginning to feel fatter already! I sure won't be getting much exercise in here apart from that of the mental variety! Well, we do owe our course commander 104 push-ups because that's how many pull-ups we were short of 290 yesterday after everyone in the platoon had done their maximum. Then again, we hardly see him, so who knows when we'll actually do them? We do neither IPPT nor SOC over here, just in case you were wondering. Didn't get called back for guard duty this Sunday, so I'll be having two days of freedom. My friends in SISPEC and OCS seem to be doing fine, some more so than others, depending on their luck and attitude. I, on the other hand, am still trying to get used to studying again! The only incentive to do well is the slim possibility of getting posted back here to help with the next cohort's training, which would also mean not having to stay in camp during weekdays anymore. I really hope I get that! Always looking for an easy way out. I guess some things about me don't change even after a few months of NS. Haha...
