Holi/Pi Day/Potato Chip Day/Genius Day/Full Moon Day/White Day
2006-03-14 @ 6:55 p.m.

Had to extend my passport validity this morning. I'm going for a worship ministry retreat over the weekend and my mum suddenly reminded me about the validity thing a few days ago. At least it created an excuse for me to pop by Kinokuniya, where I had a hard time trying to keep my expenditure down. Lucky for me, Kinokuniya's having a 20% discount for members until today, so I spent just under $100. Had to sacrifice some books I've been wanting to get for a long time, like the Dune series. I did pick up a Darkover trilogy, as well as a new translation of the collected fiction of Jorge Luis Borges. Have been meaning to check out his work ever since reading a reference to it in the Wikipedia article on House Of Leaves. After today, I'm swearing off buying books until my birthday! I can't afford to spend $100 every time I step into Kinokuniya...
