Directory Day
2006-02-21 @ 9:04 p.m.

It's been a really slack day, so I'm just going to read Flaubert's Parrot while listening to Voyageur. I really hope we book out on Friday, as I want to be at NUS for An Evening Of Poetry And Music. Got a call from somebody at NUS on Sunday morning, informing me that I've won second prize for poetry in the competition organised by the NUS Literary Society. Not surprisingly, the prizewinning piece was Choreography. I seem to write rather decently about love, even though I've never even so much as dated. This is why you should study literature. It allows you to feign knowledge of things you otherwise cannot claim to have experienced. A most useful skill at times! I wonder if I'll meet anyone I know at NUS this Saturday?
