Bought almost all of Enigma's albums today on impulse. I was picking up random compilations of electronic music, so I figured it made more sense to check out one of the pioneers of the genre. Blew over $120, but I got to redeem David Caballero's Gnomusy, so it was sort of worth it. Also got Heartbreak Lullaby, and before you blast me for going in for bubblegum pop, I swear I bought the single just to make my bill a multiple of $20 to get a sticker on my Sembawang Music Centre card. (Okay, so I do like A*Teens. Smack me already...) Wanted to go to Borders to make use of a 30% discount voucher from The Straits Times, but I didn't want to be too late for dinner in Holland Village. Turned out that I needn't have bothered, since only Eugene showed up. (Not that it's okay to keep him waiting, but he's usually late anyway!) Thong and Vivien popped by to say hi because they were taking pictures at the old campus. (Trespassing, in other words.) Then Eugene and I wandered around for half an hour because we didn't know happy hour at Harry's starts at 5 pm on weekends. Shirley was meeting her friends for dinner in Holland Village too, so she stopped by to give me directions to Settler's Café, which is an awesome place! Lots of cool, funky games, and the blueberry Coke was nice too. Really should go back there sometime...
