Survived the 12-km route march, but I have a most inept buddy this time around. His saving grace is self-awareness of his limitations, something which not all of us are fortunate enough to possess. (On a side note, I really am convinced that NS is making me more judgemental than ever, which is precisely the trait I've been trying to excise. Sigh.) My detail seems fairly solid, so thank God for that. Tonight was Raven's Night, so all the platoons had to put up performances. Some of the performances were too obscene to mention here, but it was really funny to see people imitating our commanders and the stuff they do to us! Some of them were uncannily good. Got bitten by lots of mosquitoes, so that sort of sucked, pun unintended. Apparently, my platoon commander blogs. Must remember to check out his blog when I next book out. Haha...
