Today was quite fun because we were practising for our live grenade throw tomorrow. We also got our canteen break! Think of that as a slice of normalcy amidst the general insanity of this place. GAC involved a lot of waiting, just like during range. Seems like I didn't exactly miss a lot yesterday, judging from the refresher pop quiz at the start. Was having last-minute thoughts about the poetry competition earlier. I even called my mum to get her to summarise an article for me on the symbolism of elements in nature, which relates to the general theme of the competition. After talking to her though, I decided that it wasn't really worth the effort to crunch out a substandard poem in just a few hours. After all this time, I'm still quite the procrastinator, aren't I?
