Martin Luther King, Jr. Day/Nothing Day/Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Delaware)/Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration (Arkansas)/Robert E. Lee Day (Alabama)
2006-01-16 @ 3:33 p.m.

Got Attend C again because of a 39.1°C fever. I swear it was caused by food poisoning, but the MO wasn't as sure as I was. In any case, he sent me home so I'm not one for complaining overly much! Was feeling bloody awful this morning. You would too, if your brain was baking away at nearly 3°C above your normal body temperature. At least the MO was fairly decent, if just slightly impatient with my muddled answers. The radiographer he sent me to was a very nice person. I never expected to hear anyone talk to a recruit like that in Tekong, like he was fellow human being and not just another lowly recruit. X-rays showed nothing amiss, so the MO told me to continue taking whatever the GP had given me for my ENT infection. Booking back in tomorrow night, by which time I'd have missed the first day of live range. What a shame...
