Couldn't do any of the three things I mentioned yesterday within the time limits, but I still passed anyway. My platoon sergeant seemed okay with my demonstration of the drills, so many thanks to Chris for his help with that. Was quite sick this morning, and all this wet weather isn't helping much. I think my CD player is going to die on me in the near future. It keeps making this funny whirring noise, and last night it simply refused to play Aphelion. It just kept skipping, so I expect something has gone haywire with the mechanism that reads the CD. Just as well, since this player's pretty old and the cover's broken anyway. I don't need a very expensive player really. As long as it has an inbuilt FM radio and it works with my remote control, I'm satisfied. I'm sick of shooting, even if it is with a modified rifle. We sit around in air-conditioned comfort waiting to shoot the modified rifles, equipped with sensors that simulate rounds being fired. It's cool for the first few times, but we've been doing this not a few times, and it's quite trying to echo commands loudly when your nose is like a leaky faucet and your throat's inflamed. Go me...
