Orthodox Christmas/Orthodox Christmas (Alaska)/Nordic Festival (Montana)/Ski Fest (Montana)
2006-01-07 @ 10:10 p.m.

My Friday night and Saturday morning have been wasted due to bureaucratic inefficiency! I suppose I should get used to it, especially if I want to become a civil servant in the not-so-distant future. Spending six hours watching recorded shows from AXN is very relaxing. According to Yumun, Joyeux Noël is a very nice movie, so I must find a way to catch it before its run ends. Then there's The Dark, which looks a little B-grade, but I haven't caught a horror flick since forever. (Really wanted to watch The Amityville Horror, but apparently it was quite bad.) I've gone back to reading this slim volume of Chinese short stories I bought during my RI days. I'm proud to declare that I can still understand 99% of the writing. Will probably bring that when I book in on Sunday instead of French poetry. Trying to minimise the amount of stuff I'm bringing in tomorrow, since I'll be booking back out again in less than 24 hours!
