Getting barbered with the new recruits tomorrow. Learnt today that commanders are generally nice people, provided they're not commanding. Fundamentally, almost everyone here is a decent person off this island. My sectionmates are having an open discussion about religion, something that I never experienced in school, or at least not on an inter-faith level because the Christian population in my social circle at RJC was disproportionately high. (Is it any wonder that Christianity in Singapore is sometimes seen as a religion whose devotees consist of rich Chinese?) One of my sectionmates, Benjamin, shares a very similar theological perspective to mine from what I can tell. There was more to this post, but in retrospect, I've decided to censor myself. Must be careful with what you post online these days. You never know who's watching!
