Ice Skating Day/Bowling Day/Enjoying ESP Day/Hogmanay
2005-12-29 @ 12:10 p.m.

Did manage to get an MC for tomorrow from the polyclinic, so I won't be going back until January 2. Still very sick. Fever comes and goes, but no rashes, so it's not dengue. In retrospect, it was a wise decision to report sick, whatever I might be missing. Can you imagine suffering like this on Tekong, in an environment that probably caused, and definitely exacerbated, my condition? Thank God I won't need to go back until after the New Year holiday. Don't think I've ever been this sick before. If you ask me, the next superbug isn't going to come from some poultry farm. Hop over to Tekong during the first few weeks of an intake and you'll hear people hacking and wheezing everywhere. Plenty of bacterial and viral material floating around, just waiting to recombine into the next pandemic. I swear it's true! You should have been there when the CO was speaking to us. Non-stop coughing from start to finish, all over the room. Oh well, just over two more months to go! This, too, shall pass...
