Christmas/Christmas Around The World
2005-12-25 @ 11:57 p.m.

Just came back from my cousin's housewarming, and her furniture is nice! Lots of clean lines and wood, overall effect is uncluttered and simple. Christmas service was fun, although the speaker was a bit dull. Performances were great, really happy for all the effort the YE put into them. Since lots of people have been posting updates on their university applications, I have an unconditional offer from Edinburgh to do a MA in English Literature and a conditional offer (AAB) from Nottingham to do a BA in English Studies. York has put me on hold until January when they have a clearer idea of the volume of applications. No word from Cambridge, St. Andrews and Warwick. Incidentally, Princeton sent me an application form, which makes it the first American university I've actually heard of that sent me something through CollegeBoard. A pity I'm not applying to any American universities, not this year anyway.
