Flake Appreciation Day/Bake Cookies Day
2005-12-18 @ 10:20 p.m.

Most of my sectionmates are feeling blue after another lousy route march and the news that we book out on the last ferry next Friday. I personally don't mind that, since my plans for Friday evening consisted of rushing home and then down to Paragon for CCIS. The performance'll be repeated on Sunday anyway, so I'm not missing everything. Call me unsentimental, but I still don't really miss my family. It's coming close to two weeks, which is probably the longest I'll be away from home during NS, unless I screw up somewhere and end up getting guard duty on a weekend. Think about it. If you can't live without your loved ones for a fortnight, how are you going to spend three years studying overseas? Even then, term breaks only come every few months. Am almost certainly going to have Eugene accompanying me to do my Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. Then it's off to Eskibar to chill, literally.
