Winter Flowers Day/Brownie Day/Feast Of The Immaculate Conception
2005-12-08 @ 9:00 p.m.

My plans to set up a phlog so I can blog using my handphone have been foiled! Apparently, my request for an account could take up to a week to be processed, by which time I'll have been long gone from mainland Singapore and Internet access. (Unless someone trustworthy can set it up for me? Trustworthiness is really paramount, as I'll be giving them access to my Gmail and DiaryLand accounts. Volunteers can contact me by SMS because I'll be bringing my old handphone to Tekong.) Prom food was wedding dinner food basically, so I didn't care much for it. Dessert was okay, I guess. Took pictures with almost everyone who mattered to me in RJC, and many thanks again to Eugene for lending me his camera when the battery of mine ran low! Got home just before 4 am from Paradiz Centre, where our class discovered that Jose is really familiar with all things K-Box. To put it in the words of one of the girls, it's like he has a whole "secret life" as a karaoke king. Haha! It was a lot of fun belting out songs that were by turns sentimental and cheesy. We should do it again sometime! (Like after we get our results.) Response to my little surprise was positive, and am very glad for that because it's one of the rare occasions when I spontaneously decided to do something nice for a friend (or in this case, two). Thinking of writing my essay for the PSC application, since 500 words is actually shorter than my UCAS personal statement!

PS: Happy birthday to Shaun Lum! I hope that you'll have grown taller by the next time we take a picture together. Haha...
