Happy birthday Claudia! Am at Aparna's house watching the second season of Las Vegas because her DVD player isn't cooperating, so we can't watch Shakespeare In Love. With me are Claudia, Dan, Shou Jie, Sophia and Thong, Vaish having left us after our sojourn at Eski Bar and Eugene after dinner at Big O. Incidentally, Eski Bar is such a cool place, literally. It's so cold there that even the alcohol doesn't make you feel much warmer. On the other hand, everyone looks really good in winter clothing for some reason. I love the house cocktail! Eski Blue, I think it was called. Drinking vodka and orange juice at the moment, and I'm really certain now that I hate the taste of vodka. Rum and tequila for me! Finally bought my prom clothes, all from G2000 for the sake of convenience (and not a little desperation/exaperation). Over the last few days, I've spent more time walking all over Orchard than I usually do in a month! Saw not a few people out doing last-minute prom-shopping actually, at places like Blum & Co, G2000 and Zara. Dinner at Big O was amusing, what with Nasty and her playing footsie with Eugene! Couldn't find House Of Leaves at Borders, which sounds so intriguing that I must order it from Amazon. Then we all trooped down to Eski Bar in Holland Village, which plays better music than Chinablack. I now have a picture on my handphone of Vaish as a pouting Russian babushka! It is incredibly funny, and I caught that pose completely by accident, because I was using night mode. There's a slight delay in capturing the image with night mode, hence the unglamorous shot. I think Aparna and Nasty sent themselves a copy via Bluetooth, so Vaish is so dead. Haha...
