International Forgiveness Day/Match Day/International School Library Day

Interview went fine, which is to say for once, I don't think I screwed up. Some of my answers were a bit off, and I think I spoke too quickly again, but otherwise, a satisfactory experience. If your interview takes longer than average, either your interviewer likes talking to you, or you're so bad he's desperately trying to get you to say something good. I'd like to think that he liked talking to me. I liked talking to Dr Bowkett anyway, and he reminds me of Mr Batchelor. Very nice man, so I concur with Kelly on that. We shall see what comes of this, come January or February next year. (God, if Cambridge isn't an option, could I at least have Edinburgh and Warwick? Please?) Am gratified because Mr Purvis liked all but one of the poems I'm submitting for the NUS Creative Writing Competition 2005/2006. That settles it. Choreography now ranks alongside Another Night On The Patio as the poems I'm proudest of. I already have an idea for a third poem in a similar vein, which is probably overkill, so I won't push it if the idea goes nowhere. (I write about realistically dysfunctional relationships, but I have never been in one. Is that good or bad?) Am quite psyched about the competition, and hopefully something good comes out of it! Am almost done with the French Revolution. Vive la France!
