Chocolate Cupcake Day/Watch A Squirrel Day/Alaska Day/Boost Your Brain Day/Long Distance Day/St. Luke's Feast Day
2005-10-18 @ 11:59 p.m.

Yesterday, while Huimin, Shirley and I were having drinks at Terra Café in Bugis Junction, we saw Xiaxue walk pass. She's damn short, and in person, she demonstrates the wonders of Photoshop. Anyway, Terra Cafe offers a very good deal. Good as in cheap. For $10, you get soup, main course, coffee/tea and ice-cream. Kept falling asleep while I was reading my lecture notes on the origins of the First World War. Am done with that topic, moving on to the French Revolution, which ought to be more exciting. With the First World War, you just feel like smacking all the leaders and diplomats for being such idiots. Plus French names are cooler. I still like the sound of "Thermidorean reaction", how it just rolls off your tongue and it isn't even completely French. D'après moi, les langues romanes sont les plus belles. (I hope Vaish sees that, and more importantly, understands it. Haha...)
