Note to self: Peel bananas before freezing them. Reading the James Joll reading on the origins of the First World War, which is reasonably interesting. I bought a new handphone today, the Nokia 7610. It was either that, the 7260 or the N90. Picked the 7610 over the 7260 because it looked cooler, which is essentially the whole point of the 7000 series. The N90 costs over $1000, so there's no way my dad was going to buy that for me anyway. I think the keypad buttons are a little too small for my fingers, but that's a minor gripe. Tried to join Club Nokia just now, but my serial code seems to be too new. Got a haircut today, but the place I go to has just employed a new woman, and I had the misfortune of having her do my hair this time. Nothing majorly disastrous. It's just that she took off too much hair on the sides, which makes me look a bit strange when I spike my hair up. Am enlisting on December 9 because I haven't retaken my NAPFA, let alone get a Silver, which puts me in a marginally better position than poor Ben Woon. (He enlists before prom.) Tempted not to bother though. I could use four weeks of enforced physical training...
