Have been reading Freakonomics, which was the only thing that the sorry Times store at Centrepoint could offer for my amusement. That and the sudoku puzzle board that my mum bought with just the merest hint of persuasion from myself. Really! She already wanted to buy some sudoku stuff, so the board was just to make it more entertaining for me. Anyway, I like this book a lot. It almost (but not quite) inspires me to start studying my 'A' Level Economics again. I have yet to buy any Coelho books, which is annoying me immensely. I suppose I'll just wait until my voucher arrives in the mail. I was a saintly creature today, and left Ka Tsai's party at the decent hour of 11 pm with Ben and Ming Yong. Really fun just hanging out with the class, even if not everyone turned up for one reason or another. Have you ever seen people cheat at Jenga by propping up the tower? Hilarious. Ben, Ming Yong and I basically did that for our last five games or so. Played weiqi with Ka Tsai for about 10 minutes, before he surrendered to my supposed prowess. Very flattering, but not entirely true. I've never been very good at it, and I've forgotten everything I learnt during my primary school days. I think I'll go check out Yahoo! Go sometime soon. Anyway, I love parties! Looking forward to a housewarming next week. When I'm older, like after 'A' Levels and NS, I will make my life one long party. Unless I make it to the UK on scholarship, in which case I'll have to squeeze in studying at some time. Was talking with my dad this afternoon, and I realise that I want a lot of only a few things. I want books, clothes, food, music and shoes. That's all. It's just that the above five have to be freaking expensive before I'm satisfied. We were at Paragon, which I've discovered is a very nice place to shop for clothes. Armani Exchange next to Diesel, and both opposite Calvin Klein. I have to study hard now, because I cannot afford to not be rich when I grow up! This week: Angel Week |
