Ice Cream Cone Day/Autumnal Equinox/American Business Women's Day
2005-09-22 @ 10:54 p.m.

Did nothing except play Civilization III today, so let me tell you about the bits I omitted yesterday. We ate at Billy Bomber's before we went to the National Library. I don't see what's so particularly unusual about Billy's Potato Salad. Tastes like normal potato salad to me! Ate that because I didn't have enough cash to buy more, which might have been a good thing, especially if I'm going to eat dinner tomorrow before Quills. Anyway, lunch was totally mad. Our drinks all came with cherries, and everyone was just cracking up at the possibilities for innuendo. Vaish was especially prudish and couldn't bear to see her cherry being poked at by Thong, who was trying to get it out of his drink after Sophia had thrown it in. Then the Geography 'S' and History 'S' people disappeared into the bowels of the National Library to mug, while Eugene, Thong and I took the glass lifts up and down. It's quite fun actually, watching everything just woosh by. Not something you get to see everyday, I guess, which explains why the two of them insisted on doing it a second time. Incidentally, I think my theory about the ideal size for a group was validated yesterday.

This week:

Autumn
