Damn. Mr Rollason told me I got 9/25 for the new imperialism essay. Laughed it off, but man, it sucks big time. Doesn't help that he still believes I can do better than that, which is unbelievably guilt-trip-inducing. So I either study freaking hard for Paper 3 and ace it, or I just consign History to the rubbish heap of what-could-have-been. Haven't decided which option to take yet. For once, I regretted doing three passage-based questions for English. I'm interested to see what a good answer for today's passage-based questions looks like, because I haven't the faintest clue what I should have written about. There goes one A and one B. There's still hope for a B for Economics, and I'll kick myself if I don't get an A for Mathematics. Got the tickets for Quills, so that's a thought to cheer myself with. They cost $7 more per person though, as the additional discount ended last Friday. It's really funny that Mathematics is now my best subject, and the only one I'm confident about. Au contraire, most of my classmates moan about the subject. Chalk one more up for the ironies-of-life count! Sigh...
