I am so not reading Sloman, except for the summary bits at the end of each section. Have switched to reading stuff from Tutor2U, Mr Sowden's Powerpoints and Dan's notes. I've also decided to drop new imperialism in favour of French Revolution for European History, mainly because I'm betting the question for the former will be harder, Mr Rollason being the sort who delights in crossing students who attempt to "play games with [their] revision". Of course, it also helps that his lecture notes on French Revolution seem more solid than for new imperialism. I'm aiming for two As and two Bs this time round, but at the moment, it feels like a bit of a stretch. Serves me right for slacking these past few months! For those of you who aren't having examinations, I recommend downloading this game called Ricochet Xtreme. It's good fun, and I can supply you with cracks for the demo version. When you're done with that, try Ricochet Lost Worlds and Ricochet Lost World Recharged. I have cracks for those too, and you can download user-made levels from the game's website. Hours of brick-busting fun! Now you know what I've been doing all afternoon... |
