Eat Outside Day

Our class threw a mini-party for our teachers today, which was kind of funny in its own way. We were still writing cards 10 minutes before the first teacher showed up! Was relieved to learn that Mr Purvis isn't marking Paper 8 at all, as I don't feel like dealing with his expectations at the moment, whether they be justified or unfounded. I did get my Heart Of Darkness back, but Li Jun wants to borrow it again next Monday, so I have to finish reading it by then. Have to attend the meeting about the MFA scholarship on Monday though, so I don't see how I'm going to pass her the book. I also have to pass Jennifer my Albee essay, which I'd completely forgotten about until she reminded me. Was quite amused by that because she hadn't actually expected me to remember! Sigh. Why can't I settle down to study? Am definitely resigned about History, so will do my utmost to pull my Economics grade up instead. Compromise is a slippery slope...
