Toasted Marshmallow Day
2005-08-30 @ 5:49 p.m.

Good news on the Cambridge application front. Mr Purvis has been e-mailing Dr Bowkett about my applying to read English at Christ's, because Duana is also applying there and Mr Purvis wasn't too sure about letting us both apply to the same college. Anyway, Dr Bowkett's reply is that he's prepared to accept two applicants for English. Of course, that's assuming we perform well at the interview, but that's a bridge to be crossed later. Had been considering alternatives like Corpus Christi, St Catharine's and Girton, the former two being nearer to the Sidgwick site and the latter having extensive grounds away from the town centre, but this is a load of my mind now. Going to catch Betrayal with Kelly and Shou Jie, and I hope the Teacher's Day celebrations in school tomorrow at least border on being fun, or else I'll feel like I've wasted my time turning up just to collect my Heart Of Darkness from Li Jun. Yesterday's discussion on what to buy our teachers was hilarious!
