Women's Equality Day/Cherry Popsicle Day/Toilet Paper Day
2005-08-26 @ 11:43 p.m.

If anyone happens to see the ZoCards with the SWF winning entries on it, would you be so kind as to grab half a dozen for me? Thanks! Went for RIGE's annual concert, which was again at the HDB Hub. It was not bad, other than the PA problems. The last day of proper academic lessons went by just like any other day, other than for a surge in the number of photographs being taken, and by the most unlikely people, like Allen and Chun Long. Speaking of photo-taking, yesterday featured a singularly serendipitous event, which I have decided to commemorate by incorporating it into my latest cycle of tanka, Hollowed, Hallowed. Although "synchronicity" possibly describes the event more accurately, "serendipity" expresses an element of good fortune associated with the event. It was just one of those flashes of insight that occur at the conjunction of certain circumstances. If anything, that photograph will become something to look at in years to come and laugh about.
