Independence Day (Pakistan)
2005-08-14 @ 9:17 p.m.

Paid a visit to Kinokuniya today to look for my 'S' Paper poetry anthologies. Only found Larkin's Collected Poems, a very nice green Faber & Faber cover. I did find Nick Sagan's Edenborn, which I bought, and The Battle Of Corrin, which I didn't buy. Also saw Hoban's Fremder and Mr Rinyo-Clacton's Offer, but I think I'll wait until another Times warehouse sale to hunt for those. Did find Angelica's Grotto once in Borders, but it wasn't the cover that I wanted, which I don't even know exists for sure. I persuaded my dad to buy me three Routledge books related to literature and literary criticism, plus they were cheap. Cheaper than Larkin's anthology anyway. Today's SAFOS tea session convinced me that I do not want to sign away six years of my life to the SAF. Chun Long was quite right. What the hell did I go there for?
