Left-Handers Day
2005-08-13 @ 11:53 p.m.

Have decided to be disciplined, so I am going to re-read all my texts in alphabetical order according to author's surname. It's doing things like this that make me think I have a mild form of obssessive-compulsive disorder. Experienced a slight crisis over my 'S' Paper texts again, but my choices have emerged unscathed. So it will be Barnes, Cunningham and Prantera for prose, and Gunn, Hardy and Larkin for poetry. Will probably drop one from each grouping if I don't have enough time to study, which is a distinct possibility. I do wish I weren't surrounded by hardworking/clever people, because I am neither hardworking nor clever enough to get the kind of grades I want. Four weeks to go, and I swear I won't flip, but will instead devote myself to my books for a month. Oh yeah, I need to drag myself to Toa Payoh Stadium eventually to pass my NAPFA. Life at 21 had better be more worth it than life at 18, because I feel cheated already as it is. I'll be made much happier if someone accompanies me to either Harold Pinter's Betrayal or Doug Wright's Quills. So far only Mel has offered to go see the latter, but I really want to catch Betrayal too. I hate to beg, but please? Someone? Anyone?
