The girl who emceed for the National Day celebration in school must have nothing to lose, because no self-respecting person would go up there and behave like that, not when she knows half the audience doesn't give a damn about the celebration. Standup comedy is just one misstep away from standup tragedy. Watching people playing DDR in LT6 was quite fun though. Will you think me sad if I tell you that one of my aims in life is to be good at DDR? Ended up wandering from place to place with the sad remnants of my class. (We did manage an attendance of 10/20 though, which is impressive given the circumstances. Four of them were CCALs taking part in the Promethean Ceremony anyway.) Chun Long, Dan, Ka Tsai and I headed over to some place in Orchard where we played Zombies and bought a tube of dice. I especially like the icosahedral one, which is being used to set the inflation rate for a modified version of Monopoly that we've come up with. Zombies was so much fun that we abandoned the idea of watching a movie with Thong, except for Dan, who went off with Thong to join someone. I think it was Mel, because Chernise didn't want to watch Seven Swords. I went off to Pasir Ris, where I got off about five stops early and ended up walking all the way from Elias Road to the chalet. I hate it when that happens to me. I've realised that I make good roasted marshmallows!
