The Australian Mathematics Competition was very humiliating, partly because I was sitting behind a bunch of PRC scholars, and you know what they're like when it comes to Mathematics. I'm quite sure I'll pass at least. Met Huimin at M)phosis in Plaza Singapura, and then Yan Leen joined us at the bratwurst place in the basement. The bratwurst is yummy! The guy who set up the place is quite friendly, a Melburnian if I'm not wrong. Then we went shopping for clothes. I don't like shopping at Fox. They were having a sale, so the place was rather chaotic. Found a cheap Tommy Hilfiger tee at Famous Brands Inn. There was nice Abercrombie & Fitch shirt that I wanted, but it was too large. (I've decided to stop buying oversized clothes to disguise my bulk. Haha...) Wandered over to 77th Street and bought a Billabong tee. I saw some nice Quiksilver tees in some other shop too, but there's no way I'm paying $59 for one article of clothing. Not a Quiksilver tee anyway. Maybe $100+ for one of the hooded sweaters, but not the tees. Incidentally, I think Flesh Imp has interesting prints. We wound up at MOS Burger, where I complained about school (work and people) to two Psychology students. Very therapeutic, and I'll be nicer on Monday. At least I hope I will be... |
