Chocolate Eclair Day
2005-06-22 @ 8:02 p.m.

Wrote a random poem this morning, sometime past midnight. It was amusing, still is actually, to me anyway. I had some vague idea of what it was going to be about, then I tried to combine it with another idea I've been playing around with for a while. It didn't work out, I got lazy, and presto! Almost Numerology. I guess you could say the original point's still in there somewhere, just not conveyed as subtly or skilfully as in pieces like Retrospection or Another Night On The Patio. Mugging European History right now, and then it's more CSI. Caught Mr and Mrs Smith this afternoon because my mum was paying for the movie, and the plot is just like your average Hong Kong flick! Bang, bang, bang, bang. Look, more guns! The scene cuts to the marriage counsellor's office didn't help, and the ending was just bad. Well, I suppose it was entertaining watching Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie onscreen. That was about it though. I hope War Of The Worlds is better...
