Finished my first round of Economics revision yesterday, which consisted of reading Revision Foci from Tutor2U. Probably enough to get through the MCQ section, which always contributes a disproportionately high percentage of our final grade if you ask me. Very cursory revision, so I'll have to read Sloman at some point before next Tuesday. That's a few hundred pages to go through and understand! What joy. Doing more Mathematics now, because I figure I have a better chance of scoring for that than for History. Going to finish Frost before dinner, and then start on History before CSI comes on tonight. I'm screwed for English 'S', unless there happen to be two poetry questions on the paper that I can do. Now seems like a good time to panic instead of turning on the television, don't you think? Am now filled with renewed respect for Frost after re-reading two of my own essays on his poetry. With the benefit of hindsight, I think Frost is actually quite an accessible poet. I mean that in the sense that it's easy to say something about Frost's work and justify it directly from the poems, without having to resort to great leaps of the imagination. Studying Russian Revolution right now, trying to anyway, and I chucked all my History readings back into their files. Figured diminishing returns would set in pretty quickly anyway. Kept the Cold War globalisation ones though, because I'm going to do up a nice table, just like Mr Kwok is forever exhorting us to do. Aren't I being hardworking for once? This week: Summer |
