Flag Day
2005-06-14 @ 3:31 p.m.

Felt sorely tempted to drop by Bras Basah and hunt for cheap books yesterday. Instead, I spent most of the day organising the poems I'm doing for 'S' Paper, which I'm very excited about. (I find it easier to resist the temptation to buy cheap things, which is a start, however small it may be!) I've found not a few interesting connections, like Gunn's Thoughts On Unpacking versus Hardy's Old Furniture, and Hardy's The Conformers versus Larkin's An Arundel Tomb, to name a few. Probably won't prepare more than a handful of them for the Common Test though, I have enough to do as it is, what with having to work through two novels in two weeks. Think I will aim to cover all the topics for Mathematics by tomorrow, and International History by the end of the week. I'll cover bits of Economics and English in between too. Then next week, I'll flop down on my bed in resignation and admit a sort of defeat. Who's with me this time? Haha...
