Dragon Boat Festival (China)
2005-06-11 @ 11:06 p.m.

The treetop walk wasn't very fun. The "treetop" bit lasted about five minutes, and the rest was just walking up and down trails and steps in the middle of the forest. Not the sort of thing I want to do again in the near future. Was quite amused by the murder mystery. I vaguely recall reading something similar somewhere, which is why I figured out the answer immediately. Left before lunch to meet my classmates at City Hall MRT. Henceforth, I will have more faith in the punctuality of my friends, because we were all present by 1 pm. Lovepuke was thoroughly enjoyable! I thought the placards were a very novel way of conveying the action in the play in a minimalist manner. Admittedly, the play didn't say anything to me that I didn't already know or hear from someplace else, but it was fun watching the occasional onstage verbal sniping. Like when Kevin asks, "Do you think I'm handsome?" and Louise acidly replies, "Compared to what?" Claudia would do well to pick up some of these comeback lines to die for! So here's something I realised long ago, but haven't acknowledged publicly: My wit and my ego are hopelessly intertwined. That might not always be a good thing, especially when I meet someone wittier than me. Ouch. Till then though, I humbly refer you to my latest Friendster testimonial, written by Eugene.
