Rubber Band Day/Independence Day (Norway)
2005-05-17 @ 11:04 p.m.

Just got back from Euphony, and I'm glad the whole thing's over. It's so nice to be finally able to escape from all my CCAs, not that I hate the people or anything. As a matter of fact, I've had more fun in just over a year of RJC CCAs than during my four years with RV back across the parking lots, and I've enjoyed Guitar most of all. Only logical, since it contains people I've known from CFPS (Samuel, Sean), NYPS (Jeslyn, Jit Yong, Zhiwei) and RI (Shaun), and they're awfully likeable people. Yeah, even Jit Yong, who's always bugging me about the Economics 'S' mailing list. Bugger, I'm actually missing some of you, despite what I told myself a few days ago. The difference between the class and Guitar is that you can't tease people in class without some of the girls reproaching you. Even though I was only onstage at the beginning and the end of the concert, the time in between wasn't altogether fruitless. Met Joshua, who was here with the HCI ensemble for a guest performance, and wandered off to the hall with Shaun and Samuel to take a look at Council preparing for tomorrow's investiture. (It's such a change to actually be around people in school who don't come across as artificial. Please don't change, and I'll learn to be more real in school, I will.) Then Samuel and I sneaked into the PAC to watch the rock band and the exco item. Now I'm tired, and I'm only dragging myself to school tomorrow because Mr Batchelor's screening the rest of the film. Anyway, thank you to Ming Yong the stage-hand and Allen the usher!
