Clara's t-shirts are funky! I want to buy one. Editing the English translation of my valedictory speech, and it still sounds stilted. I've found some nice pictures that can be used for the Powerpoint background to be projected with the English translation, but I don't know if M. Yong'll like them. Sent them off anyway, all five of them. Need to memorise the speech by Wednesday, which is proving to be easier than I'd thought it would be. Insight into French intonation in sentences provided by Mlle Au: As a rule of thumb, speak as if you're speaking English. Now why didn't I think of that before? Have decided that I will not buy the two Ikarus albums in the Sembawang Music Centre outlet at Junction 8, but I will buy the Nusound album(s). Not buying Exile, because that'd be an absolute impulse buy, and I know I'll regret it almost immediately. Need to visit Kinokuniya too, to get SAT II books for Literature and Math II, and various other stuff. The number of books and CDs I've accumulated is disturbing, especially when I think that I'll have to transport all of it when I move out at some indeterminate point in the future. Probably going to hang out at Tim's place on Saturday, which is cool, not least because it's freaking near my house compared to anywhere else. I want to learn driving!
