Limerick Day/Kite Day
2005-05-12 @ 9:54 p.m.

News flash: My first wisdom tooth has appeared. I'm not going to extract it unless I really have to, and I can't do anything about it in the immediate future anyway, because I need to deliver the valedictory speech at the end of the month. Was trying to come up with a halfway-decent poem about school during Economics and English. Gave up on the original poem during English and started something new, but I still managed to work the line I wanted into the new poem. I don't recall ever writing in heptasyllabics. I like the result considerably better, even if the whole thing does fall apart in the second stanza. Will show it to Mr Purvis tomorrow. I think he was behaving a bit oddly today, and he's intimidating enough when he's his normal self. Maybe it is the way he looks at you after all? We should try it. Have a lesson with Mr Purvis where you can't see him and you can only hear his voice, just to see if it makes a difference. I find him a lot easier to talk to when I'm in a smaller group or one-on-one.

Going to start on the 'S' Paper essay now, which I've been procrastinating over for the past two days. I'll probably end up sending it to my Gmail account and working on it in school with Chernise, who also foresees herself not completing it. We had class photo-taking today, and the girls came up with a pose for the guys that spelt out 2A01A. Fun, but not the best thing to try at photo-taking because of the limited space. We should do a proper one at a class party, like in someone's garden/backyard/function room. With the girls included, of course! Mathematics is becoming boring again, now that the perplexity of probability is gone. Statistics is dead boring. Should I buy SAT II books tomorrow between the end of school and English 'S'? I've finally gained control of my ATM card, after minimal negotiation with my mum. So now I've got more spending power, but by reverse psychology, hopefully I will spend less freely. Okay, I confess that I just bought Time by Wild, which is a lot more consistent as an album than any bond album other than Shine. Now I'm just going to buy F.I.R.'s debut album and I'll be satisfied for another week...
