Cinco De Mayo/Ascension Of Christ/Chocolate Custard Day/National Day Of Prayer/Halfway Point Of Spring
2005-05-05 @ 11:13 p.m.

Liling was inundated by birthday presents today, including a ridiculously long pole, which is longer than the height of our classroom. Just finished a practice test for the SAT, and my potential score lies in the range 2090-2320. My Writing score has remained roughly the same (another 12/12 essay), my Math score has improved (less careless mistakes), but my Critical Reading is awful. Four consecutive mistakes in one of the sections! I think I'll do another practice test tomorrow, and this time I'll read the passages properly instead of skimming through each one in half a minute. Not sure I'll have time though, since I've got Bible study tomorrow in the evening. I've decided to hand in my Hardy essay on Monday, because I can't concentrate on it with the SAT looming in two days' time. Alternatively, I could submit a handwritten essay, or type it out in the library. I hope I don't screw up my SAT I, because I don't really want to take it again. If I get above 2250, I'll be satisfied. School is becoming slightly more bearable. Marginally so, but an improvement nonetheless. Now I can't wait for the holidays...
