Mahavir Jayanti/Earth Day/April Showers Day/Jelly Bean Day/Oklahoma Day
2005-04-22 @ 6:45 p.m.

Have been sleeping since around 5.30 pm, and I'll probably go right back to sleep after dinner, which I happen to be eating at the moment. I realise that Mr Purvis almost always fails to cover what he intends to during a lecture or tutorial. It's the way his mind works, as he's told us before. That's the difference between an English 'S' lecture delivered by Mr McConnell and one delivered by Mr Purvis. The former is very structured, and proceeds from a logical beginning to a logical end. It has clarity, and you cover a lot in a compacted span of time. The latter follows the course of a butterfly's flight, going from one point to another without actually reaching a specific terminus. It offers a totally different experience, because you can feel him speaking from passion, and lesson objective be damned. I like having English 'S' at the end of the week! Pity that it's so short though...
