We sang It's All About Jesus during service today. I like that song a lot! Went to church early because Natalie had a drum lesson, so I sat in the sanctuary and read Kerouac and Naipaul. I find Kerouac eminently readable, and I don't mind admitting to enjoying On The Road so far, but it's not the sort of thing that I particularly care for. Am quite tired of V.S. Naipaul's letters, and the only reason I've persevered thus far is in the belief that it'll get better. It hasn't. Nonetheless, I might as well finish the damn book, seeing as it's due in two days anyway. I've decided to buy myself Hardy's Collected Poems, so I've struck it off the wishlist. Ditto The Corrs' Borrowed Heaven and Milan Kundera. Still can't find Magna Canta at That CD Shop, but I swear I've seen it before at Great World City (which is where I've been hunting). I'm half-resigned to downloading it tomorrow when I get back from school. NAPFA also happens to be tomorrow for my class, because of the Labour Day holiday, but at least Ben will be around to fail with me. What are friends for but times like these?
