Pecan Day/Tamil New Year/Malayalam New Year
2005-04-14 @ 11:29 p.m.

Rewriting my valedictory speech, and it sounds a lot better than it did previously. Writing it in French and translating to English later because it's more important for the French speech to sound elegant than it is for the English translation. I did unexpectedly well for the essay on "Adam and Steve", so I got an A1 for GP and this Common Test wasn't an unmitigated flop, but I'm annoyed at my low language mark for Paper 2, especially since I got the usual good mark for Paper 1. The markers this time round are really strange though, like the one who left a French comment in Mel's script. Mr Purvis wasn't in school today, and he won't be in school tomorrow. That makes coming for school tomorrow somewhat a waste of time. I'll probably just do all the Mathematics tutorials for fun before 'S' Paper. I've bought a pair of black trousers for SYF, but I couldn't find a black long-sleeved shirt in Raffles City or CityLink. The trousers from G2000 cost me $49, and I think it's a bit odd to buy a shirt from Robinsons that costs twice as much. The cheapest choice I have at the moment is $56 from Topman. I foresee that my taste in clothes can only grow more expensive in future...
