Flower Day/Single Parents Day/Nowruz/Baha'i New Year
2005-03-21 @ 6:04 p.m.

One day down! The Thomas Hardy essay wasn't too bad, hopefully, but the Robert Frost essay was quite pitiful, partly because I spent too much time on Hardy. Ah well, it's only Common Test 1. It would be nice to actually do well for one of my texts for once though, because that's never happened before. That's partly because we've only been examined on each text once before, but yes, it'd be nice to do well on at least one of the texts this time. If only because there's no chance I can do well in the other subjects, except maybe Mathematics. Anyway, I gave up on Sloman at about 5.15 pm, so now I'm reading revision foci from Tutor2U.net, which are quite helpful really. So if you've got no time for Sloman or boring RJC lecture notes (like me), read the revision guides and foci. It covers practically everything we've studied so far, and it ought to keep you from failing Economics tomorrow. Screw History, damn it! (Okay, study for the European half. Haha...) Incidentally, I'm thinking of buying Damien Rice's O, on the basis of a review in one of my sister's magazines. Talk about random purchasing habits. Okay, editing this entry at 9.40 pm to add that my parents just gave me ringgit to spend during the kelong trip, because my mum claims I don't say nice things about her in my blog. Voila. I don't think I'll get to spend it actually. Maybe I should just bring it back and convert it all into dollars?
