Let's Laugh Day/St. Joseph's Day/Chocolate Caramel Day/Quilting Day/Swallows Day
2005-03-19 @ 10:03 p.m.

Yummy potatoes at SIMUN today, and I got to stand behind my favourite ECOSOC delegate from Ireland for five minutes. Vaish and I are so going back to LFS one day, right? General Assembly was really boring, and they didn't debate a lot of the resolutions in the end because of the crisis, which was Taiwan declaring independence and getting bombed by China. Not very believable actually, because the USA would have intervened before things escalated to such a level. Some of us were seriously considering to move to dissolve the UN itself, on the grounds that this demonstrated how the UN had utterly failed in its job. That would have been quite interesting to watch. Then I came home, and tried to mug for Robert Frost. Thank goodness our Common Tests end on Wednesday, so there's half a week left to slack. Hooray for Arts (and Science students who don't take Physics)!
