Have been writing relatively frequently the past few days, but nothing jaw-droppingly brilliant. Just some random ideas that came into my head, inspired by equally random quotes that appeared on my blog. Went for Ben's birthday surprise yesterday evening. Didn't do much because I left early, but it was cool making a friend happy. I'm a nice person at heart! I figure I shouldn't be nice to everybody all the time, because then being nice loses its meaning. For me, at least. So if I'm nice to you, that's means I treasure your friendship just that bit more. Even if it sounds nasty (which it probably does), it can't be helped, because you can't treat everybody the same way! My grandmother's birthday dinner was not bad, if you don't count my dad's awful singing. I do think that he's tone-deaf, which is an irony when you consider my sisters and I all have some connection with music. Being in the VIP room is damn nice. We were the last people to leave the restaurant! Listening to O-Zone now, which is some Moldovan group that made it big in Europe with the inane song Dragostea Din Tei. Once you get past the stupidity of the lyrics though, the song's not too bad. Nice beats...
